OG 11 04/12 Outing: Celebrated Dickson's and Yuhan's birthday (July 2012)

Hi guys,
Here is the OG secretary again reporting to you the highlights of this year's 'Annual General Meeting'.
On 7 July 2012, out OG planned to go to Yuhan's house to play pool and sing K-Box. However, as the K-Box system was down and that we were not allowed to consume food and drinks in the pool room, Yuhan booked the function room instead and we had our dinner there. We were supposed to meet at 4.45pm at Yishun MRT. However, for convenience sake, Yuhan suggested that I buy the drinks and cups at the NTUC beside Yishun MRT and also since Yingling forgot to bring cards, they asked me to get cards as well. After I bought the items, Yuhan directed me to take the bus and alight at the bus stop opposite Chong Pang camp. Yingling, Yuhan and myself then went to buy Chong Pang nasi lemak for the entire group. After getting all the food required, we took the bus to Yuhan's house.
We then waited for Dickson, Khia Peng, Jieyang and Xinni at the function room. At 6.30pm, Khia Peng and Dickson arrived and a while later, Jieyang and Xinni came together from NUS as they had something on in school before this outing. We then started to have our dinner catching up on our experiences and also telling some stories. After dinner, we played a game where we have to choose a card and a number or a picture card meant we had to do some drinking. There was once in this game where I needed to have an alliance and under peer pressure, I chose Jieyang. In the end, whenever I got to do a forfeit, Jieyang had to do also by drinking the number of sips that I needed to sip. The funniest part was that after Jieyang had finished one cup, my cup was still half full even though the both of us had to take the same number of sips. The 'BIG winner' for this game was Yingling as she unknowingly chose the final King card and she had to drink from the King's cup.
After playing this game, Dickson felt a little hungry and we started to eat the cake. We presented the present to Dickson and each of us ate a small slice of the cake with the remainder plus Yuhan's entitled portion for her to keep. We then decided to go to the pool room to play pool. After Yuhan booked the pool room, we took our bags down and we split ourself into 2 teams comprising Khia Peng, Yuhan, Jieyang myself in one team and Dickson, Xinni and Yingling in the other team. Surprisingly, my team won the first game as Dickson hit the white ball plus the black ball into the hole. In the second game, my team lost and halfway through, Kee Yong joined us and he joined Dickson's team. Our team won the third game because Dickson's group hit the black ball into the hole that the black ball as not intended to go into and my team won the third game. In the final game, we were halfway through when the security guard came down and tell us to leave as he needed to lock up the room. We were allowed 5 more minutes but since it was a tough game, we exceeded the time and we had no choice but to leave the room. (My pool wasn't good but at least I still managed to hit in 3 balls into the hole in the 4 games)

As Dickson had something on the next morning, he went back with Khia Peng and the rest of us went to Yuhan;s house to stay over. We played many card games and at 2am, we walked to the prata shop 5 minutes away from Yuhan's house to get supper since we were rather hungry already at that time. We had our supper till 3am and we went back to Yuhan's house. I was already half dead by then and I lied down to rest while the rest of them played Bridge and other card games till almost 6am. We said goodbye yo Yuhan and we went home. What a way to end the AGM this year. It was FANTASTIC!!
All the best to Dickson as he completes the last lap of his University education. Finally, on behalf of the entire OG, I would like to wish Yuhan and Dickson and Happy Birthday and all the best in everything you do.
