OG 11 06/12 Outing: Celebrated Jieyang's birthday (December 2012)

Hi guys, this is OG 11 secretary and this is an account of what happened during our outing on 14 Dec to celebrate Jieyang's birthday.
We planned to meet at 6.30pm at City Hall MRT. However, most of us were late because Dickson has to collect the cake at Alexandra, Jieyang was help up at his workplace, Yingling had to have dinner with her parents before she goes to China and I had to accompany my brother as he wanted to get something from a peninsula Plaza. Only Yuhan was the earliest and she shopped around Marina Square while waiting for all of us to arrive. I was the second earliest and after meeting Yuhan outside Times, we went to Putian to sit down first while waiting for the rest to arrive.
After waiting for 15-20 minutes, Jieyang arrived and we started to confirm our dishes. Only when Dickson arrive then we started to order. We ordered cockles, tofu, sweet and sour pork, yam, wet mee sua and dry bee hoon. We talked about many things while eating and before we know it, Yingling arrived at around 8 plus and we started to cut the cake and sing Jieyang's birthday song. We took many photos and when we wanted to take the group photo, Dickson was hesitant to ask the waitress to take for us as she was an elderly, thinking that elderly doesn't know how to take good photographs. As the more senior waitress was present as compared to the younger ones, we asked her to take a group photo and she did a very good job, until Yingling had to scold Dickson for being prejudiced to the elderly. After eating the cake, we couldn't finish it and we asked Jieyang to bring home. We then left the place and it was about 10pm already.
We started walking to the MRT. However, as we felt that it was still early, we decided to find a place to chill. We went to Starbucks but it was so crowded and we went to the basement of Raffles City. However, as it was very late already, all the stores were either closing or closed already. We then decided to wait around for a seat at Starbucks and after waiting for about 10 minutes, we got a place and Yingling went to buy a cup to share. During the chilling, Dickson played a prank and used the fake caller app on Jieyang's phone to trick me that my good friend was calling me and I almost fell for it. I then told Jieyang that I told my good friend to call his number and he also fell for it. It was when I decided to pick up the phone call that I realized that it was a fake call. As it was quite late already, we decided to go back and after saying our farewells, we went to the MRT and went home.
For Yingling and Xinni, hope you enjoy your holidays overseas and to the rest, I wish OG 11 a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2013. Next month we will be celebrating our 6th anniversary and we hoped Yingling will return in time before school reopens so that we can celebrate.
